This was an attempt at pushing the boundaries of my modelling technique I started with my
CG paper models. With many times more polygons than any model I’ve ever made and it took my three days of cutting a sticking to create but I’m very pleased with the end result.
Next, I’m going to try to create some kinetic movement in the legs with the idea that it might be animated against a moving backdrop. I like the idea of using CGI and computer processing to animate a sculptural, real world objects, like a kind of bastardised mechanical GIF.
Tweet me recommendations for a name! If you don’t it’ll end up being called “poly”, or something equally nerdy.
